Prof. Srdjan Capkun wird zum ACM Fellow ernannt

Prof. Capkun is one of the 58 members which were named ACM Fellows 2019 for significant contributions in areas including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, combating cybercrime, quantum computing and wireless networking. "In highlighting the accomplishments of the ACM Fellows, we hope to give credit where it is due, while also educating the public about the extraordinary array of areas in which computing professionals work," said ACM President Cherri M. Pancake during this year's member announcement.
The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is an international learned society for computing. It was founded in 1947, and is the world's largest scientific and educational computing society. The ACM is a non-profit professional membership group, claiming nearly 100,000 student and professional members as of 2019. Its motto is "Advancing Computing as a Science & Profession".
ACM will formally recognize its 2019 Fellows at the annual Awards Banquet, to be held in San Francisco on June 20, 2020.
