2024 VIS Teaching Awards
Students of the department have voted for their favourite teaching assistants. VIS board member Efe Berke Alıcı announced the winners at the last Department Conference. Congratulations to all the recipients!
At the last Department Conference on 16 December, VIS board member Efe Berke Alıcı announced the winners of the 2024 VIS Teaching Awards (Fall Semester 2024). Students have voted for their favorite teaching assistants: The teaching assistants (TAs) were distinguished for their extra efforts to support students in lectures and practical courses.
- Nil Özer: distinguished for outstanding material and engagement in sessions
- Rui Zhang: distinguished for summaries after every sessions and solid answers and feedbacks
- Tobias Steinbrecher: distinguished for comprehensive website, tips and tricks for questions types and solid understanding and explanation of topics
- Henrik Pätzold: distinguished for structuring the session according to the needs of students and outstanding correction and feedbacks
- Charlotte Heep: distinguished for engagement in sessions and being always open for questions
- Bogdan Murgu: distinguished for engagement in sessions and explaning topics understandable and intuitively
- Sangbeom Park: distinguished for outstanding website with summeries and deep understanding of topics
- Sarp Sümer: distinguished for tips and tricks for question types and well-structured sessions
- Emanuel Skodinis: distinguished for engagement in sessions and good preparation of students for midterm and endterm
- Gamal Hassan: distinguished for engagement in sessions, deep understanding of topics and good explanations
