Master in Robotics, Systems
and Control
The Master in Robotics, Systems and Control is a specialised programme open to students seeking an outstanding education at the junction between mechanical and electrical engineering and computer science. Bridging the gap between the engineering disciplines, the programme offers students a unique learning environment and a multidisciplinary education that will enable them to develop innovative and intelligent products and systems to meet today's most pressing challenges: energy supply, the environment, health care, and mobility.
Students attend courses offered by the three departments in engineering: Computer Science (D-INFK), Mechanical and Process Engineering (D-MAVT) as well as Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (D-ITET).
During the last years, ETH Zurich established one of the worldwide leading competence centers in the field of robotics, systems and control. The programme is run by about ten internationally respected professors covering research activities ranging from fundamental theory in modeling, control, artificial intelligence and signal processing with challenging applications in biomedical and rehabilitation engineering, power systems, aircrafts and automotive vehicles, space and micro-robots, air traffic management and much more.
