Paul Bernays Lectures
This lecture series was established in honour of the eminent logician, mathematician and philosopher of logic and mathematics, Paul Bernays, who taught and conducted research at the ETH from 1933 to 1959.
The Paul Bernays Lectures give outstanding philosophers of logic, mathematics or physics the opportunity to speak about their pioneering research. The first lecture focuses on research topics for a wider audience; the second lecture addresses the research community, followed by a final seminar at which members of the research community can discuss selected research topics and ideas with the invited speaker(s).
