Cyber Security has never been more important
With our world becoming ever more digital, the importance of cyber security is steadily growing. In practically every line of business, cyber-attacks pose severe threats. When valuable data is compromised or operational processes are disrupted, the resulting economic and reputational damage can be crippling. From a business perspective, investments in digital security are of the highest priority. In consequence, the demand for highly qualified personnel is constantly increasing. A trend that will likely continue far into the future.
The CAS ETH in Cyber Security programme in a nutshell
The attendees of the programme gain a solid basis to understand today's challenges and problems regarding cyber security. They develop a comprehensive perspective that allows them to understand the complexity associated with these issues. Course graduates are well prepared to make sustainable and rational decisions regarding cyber security related challenges, based on fundamental know-how that transcends purely technical aspects.
Target Audience
This programme targets professionals from areas such as business, industry, administration, finance, telecommunications or the security sector, not necessarily with a strong background in computer science, who are connected to decision-making processes in information and cyber security. Gaining a deeper technical understanding of the main concept, the language and the essential aspects of information security will enable them to meet cyber security experts at eye-level. And it will enhance their ability to make informed decisions related not just to security, but to other digital processes in their companies as well.
