Fritz Kutter Prize
Every year, a cash prize is awarded from the Fritz Kutter Fund to honour valuable practice-oriented computer science theses. The fund is administered by ETH Zurich, but the prize can be awarded to any graduate of a Swiss university.
The Fritz Kutter Prize is awarded annually to authors who submit outstanding diploma and doctoral theses in the field of computer science at a Swiss university.
The assessment is carried out by an independent board of trustees made up of experts from industry and universities. Diploma, master's and doctoral theses in the field of computer science that were submitted to a Swiss university between July 2023 and the end of September 2024 may be submitted. Prizes will be awarded for practical solutions in the field of information processing, innovative methods or useful implementations of computer science findings in a business environment.
It is important that the submission is made by the professors and not by the students themselves. In addition, only supervisors of a thesis can submit a nomination. Nominations can be submitted on an ongoing basis, but no later than September 24, 2024. All submissions must be made electronically by email to .
