At the last Department Conference, VIS President Julia Bogdan announced the winners of the 2023 VIS Teaching Awards. Students have voted for their favorite lecturers in four different categories.

The winners of the 2023 VIS Teaching Awards are:

  • VIS Teaching Award for Best Lecture Material – Ueli Maurer, Professor of the Information Security and Cryptography Group.
  • VIS Teaching Award for Best Organization – Thomas Gross, Professor emeritus at the department.
