2021 SCA Early Career Researcher Award for Vinicius Azevedo

For his significant early-career contributions to the field of computer animation, Vinicius Azevedo was given the 2021 SCA Early Career Research Award. The award aims to support researchers who have made a notable contribution at an early stage of their career. In his research, Vinicius has focused on fluid simulations and introduced new approaches to improved modeling of fluid boundary conditions. He recently joined DisneyResearch|Studios in Zurich as a research scientist and he intends to continue exploring efficient ways to combine machine learning with traditional fluids and other physically-based solvers.
