Meta Security Research Award for Zhendong Su and Shaohua Li
Professor Zhendong Su and his doctoral student Shaohua Li have been awarded a 2022 Meta Security Research Award for their project proposal on “Solidifying sanitizer implementations via automated testing”. Congratulations!
Professor Zhendong Su from the Institute for Programming Languages and Systems and his doctoral student Shaohua Li have been announced as winners of the Meta Towards Trustworthy Products in AR, VR, and Smart Devices and Security Research requests for proposals. The selected proposal is titled "Solidifying sanitizer implementations via automated testing" and emerged from a collaboration between Su and Li. Zhendong Su and Shaohua Li are both with the Advanced Software Technologies Lab at ETH Zurich, where they work in the areas of programming languages and compilers, software engineering, computer security, deep learning and education technologies.
The 2022 Meta Security RFP attracted 136 proposals from 88 universities and institutions around the world, of which seven were selected as winners. The goal of the Meta Security RFP is to broadly support the community of academics participating in security research.
