Two ASPLOS awards for Theodoros Theodoridis
Theodoros Theodoridis, doctoral student in the Advanced Software Technologies Lab, has won two awards at the ASPLOS 2022 conference.

Theodoros Theodoridis, doctoral student at the Advanced Software Technologies (AST) Lab led by Professor Zhendong Su, received two awards at the ASPLOS 2022 conference for his work on optimising compilers. A best paper award went to the paper “Understanding and Exploiting Optimal Function Inlining”, which Theodoridis published with Su and Tobias Grosser, formerly a senior scientist at the Scalable Parallel Computing Laborators (SPCL) at ETH Zurich. A second paper, entitled “Finding Missed Optimizations through the Lens of Dead Code Elimination”, which Theodoridis co-authored with Manuel Rigger and Zhendong Su, received a distinguished artifact award.
