Prof. Angelika Steger joins ETH Prize Committee
Prof. Angelika Steger has been elected as a new member of the ETH Zurich Prize Committee as of 1 November 2021. The Prize Committee advises the Executive Board on science prizes.
At the Executive Board meeting of 26 October 2021, Prof. Angelika Steger from the Department of Computer Science was selected as a new member of the ETH Prize Committee. The Prize Committee advises the Executive Board on science prizes. In this function, the committee monitors national and international developments in this area and proposes suitable ETH candidates to the Vice Presidency for Research for nomination. The Executive Board elects the members of the committee as well as its president. In addition to Steger’s election, Prof. David Norris from the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering was appointed as the new President. He succeeds the outgoing president, Prof. Martin Quack.
