D-INFK at WEF in Davos
D-INFK is headed to Davos during the World Economic Forum, January 22-25. A visit to ETH Zurich's Pavilion will have you RETHINKING DESIGN in an entirely new context: design your own robot, meet SAM the soft robotic hand, and play a video game you built yourself.
Robot and motion design
Among the projects featured by the Computer Science Department, you can learn about Professor Stelian Coros’ groundbreaking research in robot and motion design while designing and programming your own robot using tools from ETH Zurich's Computational Robotics Lab. You will also have the chance to meet SAM, the soft robotic hand. Built by Professor Coros’ team at the Computational Robotics Lab, the touch of this versatile soft robotic hand is so soft it can even handle fragile objects. Learn more about SAM
Game Design
ETH Zurich’s Game Technology Center will be present to help you explore the latest game technologies. Build your own game or play Derailed, a cooperative multiplayer game where your character can travel through endless worlds.
