Michael Wawrzoniak is a Ph.D. candidate in the Systems Group of ETH Zurich Computer Science Department.

His most recent research has been focused on serverless platforms. He has developed Boxer, an experimental system that extends the programming model of real-world function-as-a-service platforms. The utility of an early version of this system in the context of serverless data analytics was described in [CIDR21call_made]. Against the wishes of many conference reviewers, he continues to pursue this line of work further. For some reason, he writes about himself in the third person.
